Good etiquette is practical: stay safe, respect others, keep moving, and care for the course.
Give the shot some space
Pause conversation when someone begins their routine. Stand where you are safe and not distracting them. Stay aware of other groups nearby. Good manners do not require complete silence for the whole round.
Prepare while you wait
Walk to your ball when safe, check your distance, and choose a club. When it is your turn, you should be ready. Avoid offering swing tips unless someone asks.
Leave things better
Repair damage, rake after bunker play, and follow cart restrictions. Thank the staff and your playing partners. A difficult hole never excuses throwing clubs or making others uncomfortable.
