A small bucket and a clear goal can be more useful than hitting until you are tired.
Before you go
Check hours, whether bays need booking, and whether clubs are available to rent. Bring water, suitable shoes, and a towel. Ask where to buy balls and which areas are open for practice.
Set up safely
Stay inside your bay. Leave room behind and beside you. Never walk onto the range to collect a ball. Stop if staff close the range or ask players to pause.
Work through a plan
Start with comfortable movement and a few short wedge shots. Build toward the club you want to practice. Pick a target for each shot. Finish with a few changing clubs or targets to resemble play.
Leave with an answer
Choose one useful observation: your starting direction, typical carry, or how many shots reached a target area. Share it with your coach instead of collecting several new swing fixes online.
