The starting area runs between the tee markers and extends two club-lengths back.

What to know

Any part of the ball touching or above that rectangle is inside. Your feet may be outside it. Use the correct tee markers for your round.

On the course

Place your ball a little behind the marker line so its position is clear. Do not move the markers to make room.
